The Digital Tradeshow

November 06, 2017

By Jacob Drucker

On Friday, I had the opportunity to be interviewed by John Stamper, host of The Digital Tradeshow, about founding and growing Supply Clinic.

John does a great job of letting each guest tell his or her story in a personal way. Instead of asking entirely about the nuts and bolts of the business, he makes a point of focusing on the human side of each guest and the company they’re building. John asks some unique questions, to myself as well as other interviewees. He tries to personify each company, and asks questions like, “What song best represents your company?” (Obviously, in our case, it’s “Can’t Hold Us” by Macklemore.)

John’s method makes for better listening. You can learn what a company does from their website; you can learn what makes them tick from The Digital Tradeshow. Also, it’s a great way to keep listeners engaged- everybody loves stories. Why was the company started? How has it changed? What does the team look like? What fires them up?

Of course, if you want to find out those answers about Supply Clinic, you’ll have to leave our website and check out the podcast. You can find the podcast here, and the Digital Tradeshow website here.
