We at Supply Clinic are thrilled to welcome our newest vendor: The American Dental Association! The ADA is now selling a selection of its most popular products directly to dentists through Supply Clinic. Products for sale range from the 2017 CDT Companion to OSHA Kits to educational mouth models.
The ADA joins over 85 other vendors selling their products through Supply Clinic.
Finding a job in dentistry can be shockingly difficult. After speaking with a number of dentists on the subject, it seems that common places to search for jobs include Craigslist, classifieds of local dental organizations, Yellow Pages, and Monster.com. In a field where we pride ourselves on advancements in treatment technology, using resources like Craigslist and the Yellow Pages is embarrassing.
All of this begs the question – is there a good resource for finding a job in the dental space?
Since its inception in 2004, DentalPost is just that. DentalPost is website and mobile app where dentists, hygienists, office managers, dental assistants, lab techs, and sales reps can find job opportunities. The site is even capable of coordinating the sale of dental practices through classifieds.
A group of dentists is suing the largest dental distributors for working together to fix supply and equipment prices.
The class-action lawsuit, which began earlier this year, continues to move forward in federal court. The suit originally named only named Henry Schein, Patterson, and Benco. Their motion to dismiss the case was rejected, and Burkhart was named as an alleged fourth co-conspirator.
